HOLIDAY OF SUN...

There is something about a holiday,
Which melts all of life's troubles away;
They are yet there, though our thoughts divert,
From the stress, too many hours of work, and negativity's hurt...

Walking along the sandy beaches,
Where even one ray of sun far reaches,
Feeling the cool waters of the lake, river, or sea,
Allows pent up emotions and worries to be set free..

As the weather changes from warm to cold,
The memories of these days are there, to muster and hold,
Warming the spirit with visions of times when life was easy,
Though the hours spent, went by, a bit too fleetingly...
